There are as many different breeds of LGD’s as there are herding and sporting dogs it seems. All have their respective merits and advantages as well as their flaws. Greg Judy was speaking at Holistic Management seminar on High Density grazing and the subject of LGD’s came up. Greg has “paid his dues” when it comes to livestock management and their care and so when he said, “here’s the cross that has worked best for us” we listened. So now we are raising what we affectionately call the “Judy Cross LGD”. These dogs are ½ Maremma, ¼ Great Pyrenees, ¼ Anatolian Shepherd. You may e-mail us for expected litter dates and availability.
